How to stop procrastinating?
Too many people write their goals wrong. They leave too much room for error and procrastination.
Why say:
Ø “I need to workout”
Ø “I need to eat healthily”
Ø “I need to pray”
You are just stating the obvious. You needed to work, eat healthily and pray all of your life, but you didn’t.
You still need to do those things, but you aren’t. Nothing’s changing.
I've also heard:
Ø “I get to workout”
Ø “I get to eat healthily”
Ø “I get to pray”
It's not bad but not excellent.
Just state exactly what you are going to do.
Need to study today? Good, say "I’m studying at X time."
Workout? "I’m going to the gym today after work."
Pray? I’m going to pray before bed.
Not procrastinating and doing what you are supposed to do, will get you far, far in life.
Don’t wait around to be motivated. Stop waiting around for the “best time”.
Guess what? The best time is all the time. Just do it, stick with it, and see results.
